Free Item and New Postcard!

You can pick up your mini sombrero in the Cove:

1. Go to the Cove
2. Waddle over to the box of mini sombreros
3. When it comes up and asks you if you want one, click “yes”
4. Go to your penguin’s inventory
5. Go to head items
6. Scroll all the way down to the bottom (the items are in order of when they were first created, which is interesting since the ninja mask is at the top of face items…)
7. Click on it
8. Now you’re wearing it!
9. I tried dancing, but it doesn’t do anything special

Rockhopper and Sports Games

Rockhopper is expected to return tomorrow, August 8th. I believe we will be having a scavenger hunt to help him. I will tell you more later:

New Aqua Grabber Levels

The new levels are Clam Waters and Soda Seas:

You don’t have to play Clam Waters first, however. You can play Soda Seas first if you want. Clam Waters is pretty much the old level, with just a few adjustments.

Winter Fiesta-Val + Furniture Catalog

The Winter Fiesta has officially begun! The maracas (spelling?) are different from last year’s and they are located in the dance club:

When you dance with the maracas, and only the maracas on, you dance like this:

By rolling over the musical note, coffee cup, or gift box in the town, they will swing back and forth: (the same thing with the Pizza in front of the Pizza shop, and the Puffle-O’s in front of the Pet Shop.)

Then, go to the Forest, and find the pinata (just like last year) move your cursor back and forth over it until the sombrero pin falls out. Then, pick up the sombrero pin.

There’s a new furniture catalog, and here are the secrets:

• Click on the Cash Register for the Moose Head
• Click on the Upright Piano for the Pipe Organ
• Click on the Home Stereo for the Concert Lights
• Click on the Stem of the Ficus plant for the Mullet (I’m totally getting this)

Igloo Storage

There’s a new storage arrangement, and when you add something to storage a little storage box icon comes on the screen. When you move something from storage into your igloo, a big storage box appears and drops it.

I can’t show you pictures of all this because there’s so much new stuff, but you get the idea.

Plus, this doesn’t apply to everybody because some people aren’t members. But for those of you who are members, just go and check out your igloo storage.

It’s pretty awesome!
